Breams (Lahna in Finnish) are one of the most common catches you can get while fishing in rapids with nets . In one net with only breams you can catch anywhere between 1 - 12 breams in a net. Breams are not that large however they only weigh around 0.5 lbs but are very nutritious (as most fish are). Also breams seem to cook very quickly so when you are in a hurry and don't have a camp set up, go fishing anywhere and you are bound to catch one of the lower quality fish. They generally take around half an hour to complete no matter how many fish you cook.
In more recent versions, breams weigh around 2.2 lbs. As they are very easy to catch in large quantities with even a moderate amount of skill, they are ideal for preservation.
