I was adding these and someone else made a different article, anyhow, I dont know if the time for salting is acurate. Can someone help?
Salt is combined with meat and fish to preserve the food. That is very useful as it can be done in minutes, instead of drying or smoking food, which take weeks. Althought salt needs to be acquired.
